Once owned by Thomas Jefferson and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the 215-foot tall Natural Bridge is a limestone gorge carved out by Cedar Creek. More information at http://www.dcr.virginia.gov/state-parks/natural-bridge#general_information
While visiting the Virginia Natural Bridge State Park, we took in the Caverns. I was expecting a view like the luray caverns, and this was nothing like that. Luray caverns have large rooms and many Stalactites, where this one give you more of the feeling of being in a CAVE. Excellent visit.
